Performance testing
-
1.Field of water-based paint
①Dispersing test of Titanium dioxide. -
②Dispersing test of Grand calcium carbonate.
◆Testing Methods
a. Measure dispersant and water in the glass vessel.
b. Add pigment into stirring solution of dispersant at 1000rpm.
c. Mix well by homogenizer at 3000rpmx10min.
d. Measure the viscosity under 25 ºC by Brookfield type viscometer (60rpm).
-
③The evaluations of water resistance
◆Testing Methods
a. Making painting film: Add dispersant (1.0wt%(solid)) into acrylic emulation, and mix it well.
Apply it on the glass plate by 6mils applicator, then dry it under room temperature for 1 hour and 105ºC by incubator for another 1 hour。Sinking test: Check the appearance after sinking in the water (40 ºC) for 1 day
-
2.Field of ceramic
①Dispersing test of alumina(Particle size:3μm).
NOPCALL 5200 shows lower viscosity of slurry than the competitor.*The Competitor is composition of polycarboxylic acid with ammonium salt
